I spent my younger years at my grandmother’s side watching her paint. My late grandmother was the Los Angeles artist Zyrilda Christiansen whose oil medium work still hangs throughout Los Angeles and Riverside County locations. Another influence was my late uncle Howard Lemon from Hollywood, another oil medium artist whose work still hangs from Hollywood to Texas. Both artists were Impressionist.
